Rental Terms

You remain liable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount unless additional insurance applies. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or any violation of these Terms will be your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.

6. Modifications and Cancellations

Cancellation and amendment policies differ depending on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For specific information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Late cancellations or failure to show may incur additional charges.

7. Restricted Activities

Prohibited Vehicle Uses

• The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. Engaging in racing, rallying, off-roading, or similar dangerous pursuits is prohibited. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is strictly forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes and within designated passenger and weight limits. Driving beyond the agreed geographical area without prior consent is also prohibited.

Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.

8. Liability Restrictions

To the fullest extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Dukinfield is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will be limited to the amount you paid for your rental within the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
